Sharia Law Has No Place In Georgia | Act for America

Image
State Senator Greg Dolezal (R-GA) has introduced SB486 in the Georgia Senate to ensure that only American laws are utilized in American courts. This bill strengthens Georgia law to ensure that no court or tribunal in our state can enforce a foreign law if it violates the rights protected by the U.S. Constitution or the Georgia Constitution. It clearly defines what “foreign law” and “tribunal” mean, while protecting legitimate international business agreements and arbitration, as long as constitutional rights are not at risk. In the words of Sen. Dolezal,  “Sharia Law has no place in the United States and it has no place in Georgia.”  He's right. The legislation also tightens the rules for sending cases to foreign courts, requiring strong proof that a person’s constitutional rights would still be protected before a Georgia court can dismiss a case in favor of another country’s legal system. Overall, this bill puts the rights of Georgians first and makes sure constitution...

Call on the Senate to Pass the SAVE America Act

Image
The SAVE America Act, introduced by Congressman Chip Roy (R-TX) and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), is a strengthened and updated version of the original SAVE Act designed to secure America’s elections. This improved legislation (S. 3752) adds a clear voter ID requirement for federal elections while preserving the original bill’s proof-of-citizenship requirement for voter registration. Together, these provisions ensure that only U.S. citizens can register and vote, require states to verify citizenship in person, and mandate the removal of non-citizens from existing voter rolls—commonsense protections supported by a strong majority of Americans. On February 11th, the U.S. House fulfilled its responsibility by passing this historic election integrity legislation. The SAVE America Act now moves to the U.S. Senate, where it faces a challenging—but achievable—path to final passage. If the Republican majority stands firm and resists Democratic delay tactics, the bill can advance to the preside...

Support the Make Elections Great Again Act | Act for America

The voices demanding more secure and transparent elections are finally being heard in Washington. House Administration Committee Chairman Bryan Steil (R-WI) unveiled the Make Elections Great Again (MEGA) Act , a comprehensive election reform package that imposes baseline federal standards for national elections.   Building on key elements of the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act led by Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX),  the bill mandates proof of citizenship for first-time voter registration, requires photo ID to cast ballots in federal elections, bans ranked-choice voting in federal races, requires auditable paper ballots, strengthens voter roll maintenance, and overhauls mail-in voting by prohibiting universal mail ballots, requiring ballots to be received by Election Day, and banning third-party ballot harvesting . These commonsense measures aim to make it easy to vote but hard to cheat, restoring confidence in our electoral process ahead of the critical 2026 midterms...

No More Welfare for Non-Citizens | Act for America

Image
The No Welfare for Non-Citizens Act (H.R. 6854)   is a clear, decisive response to a system that has spiraled out of control. Introduced by Congressman Randy Fine (R-FL),   this legislation ends federal welfare eligibility for non-citizens and closes the loopholes that have allowed billions of taxpayer dollars to be siphoned away from American families.  At a time of crushing national debt and widespread fraud, the bill restores a basic principle of sovereignty and fairness: taxpayer-funded benefits should go to American citizens—period. By removing the financial incentives that fuel abuse and illegal immigration, H.R. 6854 puts citizens first and protects the future of our country.   If you believe non-citizens have abused our welfare system for long enough,  now is the time to act . Contact your legislators in Washington, D.C. by clicking our  “Take Action Now”  button and demand they support the  No Welfare for Non-Citizens Act . Tell them to s...

Pass DHS Funding Now — Support ICE | Act for America

Image
Senate Democrats are threatening to block vital funding for the Department of Homeland Security—including money that supports Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)—in response to recent events in Minnesota, raising the very real possibility of a partial government shutdown if DHS money isn’t removed or altered.  Key Democratic leaders have said they will withhold their votes on the DHS funding bill unless significant reforms are enacted on immigration enforcement following the fatal shooting of a Minnesota resident during an ICE operation, a stance that could usher in a partial government shutdown at the end of this week.   We cannot sit silently while the men and women who risk their lives every day to remove dangerous criminals and keep our communities safe are hounded, blamed, and lambasted in the media and political arenas. ICE agents and DHS personnel carry out difficult work that protects American families from violent offenders, and defunding or undermining these e...
