Pass DHS Funding Now — Support ICE | Act for America

Senate Democrats are threatening to block vital funding for the Department of Homeland Security—including money that supports Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)—in response to recent events in Minnesota, raising the very real possibility of a partial government shutdown if DHS money isn’t removed or altered. Key Democratic leaders have said they will withhold their votes on the DHS funding bill unless significant reforms are enacted on immigration enforcement following the fatal shooting of a Minnesota resident during an ICE operation, a stance that could usher in a partial government shutdown at the end of this week.
